Junior Competition Rules

The following competition rules apply to all junior competitors and their families and friends at all Junior competitions or events either organised by Jersey Golf or where Jersey Golf is represented.


These rules do not apply to any competitor who participates in the 9 hole stableford competitions that is held after any main Junior competition or event.


1) No caddies allowed - except in adult competitions where junoirs can have a caddie but they cannot be a family member.

2) Family members and spectators are only permitted at a minimum distance of 25 metres from the players and must not interfere with discussions or play. This guideline may be dispensed with when helping to search for a ball or handing over refreshments.

3) If family members wish to spectate then it is recommended, they walk ahead of the game and act as “ball spotters” for all players.

4) Mobile phones must be switched off and only used in emergencies or as directed by the tournament organisers.

5) In the event of adverse weather conditions Jersey Golf reserves the right to alter the format of the competition to achieve a result.

6) Any disputes shall be settled by Jersey Golf, whose decision is final.

7) No player shall receive more than one prize at any event.
